SISU FILMS... A collaboration of film and digital para-professionals working on their first projects together: 'The Jury'. 'The Jury' is a feature length film to be shot on super 16mm and high definition video. Other feature film projects in script development are 'VIAJAR’ THE JOURNEY. A project developed to expose the realities of illegal immigration from Mexico to the US before it happens; the motivations of poverty and a corrupt government and the duplicity of the American policies that make this controversy so rife with hypocracy and lies.
The film project that spawned the others is 'SISU'. This script is centered around the November 30, 1939 invasion of Finland by the USSR.
The sisu (or struggle) of the Finnish People to face more than a million invaders equipped with tanks, planes, and artillery with a army of less 200,000 soldiers and two tanks. How did the majic of weather and a 'home field' advantage turn away this massive force in less than 4 months? The survivors tell us that is was 'SISU'.
